Relief from Car Accidents Injuries

Not only is a motor vehicle accident stressful and frightening, but it’s also a traumatizing experience that can lead to disabilities. Traffic collisions lead to whiplash, which can also lead to disabilities and in the worst cases, it can lead to death.

In 2017, the number of motor vehicle accidents was 1,841—a 2.8 percent decrease compared to 2016.  But this number went up by 2 percent by the end of 2016. By the end of 2016, there were more than 7.2 million registered passenger vehicles in Canada.

What You Should Do After An Accident

The first thing you need to do after getting involved in a motor vehicle accident is to contact your health insurance company immediately. It doesn’t matter whether the accident is your fault or not. If you are injured, you need to seek medical help immediately so you can return to your normal routine and activities.

When you come to our clinic, you will need to fill a few forms regarding your healthcare insurance. This will help us make on-the-spot decisions and provide you with the best and most effective treatments.

You will need to undergo an assessment (AB-2 Assessment) in order for us to make a diagnosis. If the injuries are severe, you will need to enrol at a rehabilitation center.

Afterwards, you will be examined by our team who can help you with your spinal injuries and whiplash.

What You Should Expect From Us

First things first, we will need to conduct an x-ray to determine whether there are any problems or not. You will need to undergo a few examinations as well.

If you have whiplash, there’s a high chance that you’ll develop a Whiplash Associated Disorder (WAD). Common symptoms of whiplash include:

  • Neck pain and stiffness
  • Headaches
  • Lower back pain
  • Concussion
  • Muscle strain
  • Inability to move
  • Memory problems

Make sure to look out for all of these symptoms. Cooperating and being open about your injury with your chiropractor can help you get the best treatment. Getting early treatment can help reduce the risks of chronic pain and other problems.

Our treatments include exercises, massage, concussion management, braces, etc.

If you’ve been involved in a motor vehicle accident contact us immediately so we can get the process started ASAP to avoid any delays in the treatment.
